A New Year means it’s time to file your Homestead Tax Exemption! If you purchased a primary residence in 2019, follow the guidelines and file now. There’s no need to pay for a service to do this for you – it’s FREE to do on your county’s website. We’ve provided the links for Fort Bend and Harris County below. If you didn’t purchase a home last year, it’s still a good practice to check that your Homestead (and any other exemptions you qualify for) are in place. Feel free to call us with any questions or for assistance filing your first time!”
