Another Indication our Market is Getting Better
The Hanley Wood Market Intelligence’s builder market health index is reporting that the Texas housing market is one of the strongest in the nation for new home building. The Houston area scored a 77.3. (100 is the maximum score and the minimum score to be considered strong is 50.)
The market health index looks at housing conditions in 1 hundred of the largest home building markets. They also looks at unemployment numbers, unemployment rates, changes in any of these numbers, household growth, home price appreciation, median income growth, and job growth.
